A Cape Town student has raised a whopping R700 000 for Aids orphans in only 12 hours by persuading stockbrokers to donate their brokerage for one day.
Jon Paul Bolus, 21, a second-year surface design student at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology, wanted to raise a substantial amount for Nkosi's Haven in Johannesburg, a home for orphaned children of Aids victims.
